Celebrating the True Identity of the Israelites

Welcome to the 'Brew blog!

In celebration of the worldwide awakening of the true bloodline Hebrews, as prophesised in the Book of Ezekiel chapter 37.

My Awakening

For a long time when I used to attend church, I felt that something wasn’t quite right by what I was being taught about the Bible.

Something didn’t fit.

Big questions about life weren’t being answered.

The events in the Bible were powerful, sacred, and familiar, yet something always felt missing. It was only when I stopped going to church, coming out from that artificial environment that I soon realised that firstly, the Bible was set in Africa.

Pursuing Truth

Pursuing the truth of that led me to come to the true understanding that the True Hebrews are black.

The 'Brew Blog is a space dedicated to exploring the Bible through a lens that honours racial accuracy, historical context, cultural truth, and the lived realities of the ancient Israelites.

These people are my ancestors. I am an Israelite. And delighted to be one. I, like so many other so-called black people who descend from the transatlantic slave trade and colonisation, fulfilling the prophecies in the Book of Deuteronomy chapters 28:15-68, Leviticus 26 etc, are the true bloodline descendants of the Israelites.

This worldwide awakening of the true Israelites is about restoration and returning to our ancient culture. Like all other races around me, it’s very clear that my race - the so-called black race - is the only one who does not follow their ancient culture. As prophesised, our God - the God of Israel - took it temporarily away from us (Jeremiah 17:4-5)

Bible setting of Northeast Africa

The land of Canaan, later renamed to Israel, is located in Northeast Africa, not Europe. The Israelites were, and still are, black. Moses was an Israelite who was mistaken for a dark-skinned child of Ham (Egypt/African).

Bible scholars and Historians

Bible scholars and historians have been writing for years that Hamites/Egyptians, are dark-skinned people.

Ham:

the youngest son of Noah, born probably about 96 years before the flood. He was the progenitor of the dark races (not the Negroes) but the Egyptians, Ethiopians, Libyans and Canaanites.

Zondervan Compact Bible Dictionary, First published                1963.

So right here, the Bible scholars are stating that the Negroes (so-called black people) are not Hamitic/African. They wrote this to show that though the Negroes are black, they are not Hamitic. That is because us Israelites are Shemitic, not Hamitic.

There’s more

“The Negro’s claim to be Jewish is legitimate. The land of Israel is located in Western Asia and borders North Africa. All of the native inhabitants of that region were non-white. When Spain expelled its Jews in 1492, many of them went to Africa. It seems probable that some of them were brought later to America as slaves. The spirituals never sing of African rivers, it’s always the ‘Jordan’ or the ‘Red Sea.’ They don’t sing about African chiefs or kings; it is David or Moses or some other Jewish character from the Bible.”

The Negroes and the Jews by Lenora E, Berson, Penguin Random House, Published 1971

“Noah, the son of Lamech, was a prophet of the Antediluvian world...The posterity of Noah who inhabited the earth after the flood were a colored people, and their language was Hebrew. This language was originally given to man by his Creator, and afterwards broken into a multitude of tongues at Babel. Hebrew it is almost certain was the language of Adam and Eve, and it is certain that their complexion was black.”

This blog will explore biblical history, culture, identity, and storytelling. It will ask tough questions and challenge comfortable narratives, always with respect for Scripture and a commitment to truth. It will also serve as a companion to my biblical fiction series, which brings these stories to life through carefully researched, character driven narratives.

The True Hebrews book series

The first book in the series, Abraham & Sarah: A Covenant Established, begins where it all begins. With a promise.

Abraham and Sarah are often presented as distant figures, almost mythical in their obedience and faith. Yet they were real people, living in a real world filled with uncertainty, migration, barrenness, and risk. They were Israelites in formation, called out of familiarity into promise, and asked to trust a God who revealed Himself gradually, not all at once.

In Abraham & Sarah: A Covenant Established, I retell their story with cultural and racial accuracy, grounding it in the ancient world they inhabited. Sarah is not a footnote to Abraham’s faith. She is central to the covenant, bearing both the weight of barrenness and the miracle of promise. Abraham is not a flawless patriarch but a man learning obedience through fear, failure, and faith.

This blog will take you back to ancient Israe as well as give reflections on Scripture, and discussions about identity and heritage as they relate to the Israelites of the Bible. I will also explore why these stories matter today, especially for readers seeking truth, belonging, and a deeper understanding of who the people of the Bible really were.

If you have ever felt that the biblical narrative did not fully reflect the world it described, you are not alone. If you are curious, questioning, or ready to see Scripture with fresh eyes, you are welcome here.

This is the beginning of a journey back to the roots. Back to the true people.

 Back to the Covenant.
